M.Sc. Thesis Declaration Forms

Dear Biotechnology MSc students,

This is a kind reminder that the MSc thesis declaration forms for this semester are due on or before 2 February 2024.

Although the form itself is in Turkish, you must fill the form in English since our MSc program is in English and you will be writing your theses in English.

Since our graduate programs have been officially transferred to the "Graduate School", please write "Lisansüstü Eğitim Enstitüsü" on top of the form.

Please note that per Article 33, Paragraph 2 of the Graduate Education Regulation of GTU, "The student must declare the thesis topic by the end of the 2nd semester at the latest. Starting from the semester in which the thesis topic is declared, the student must register for the Thesis Study course every semester. In order for the student to register for courses at the beginning of the 3rd semester, they must have declared their thesis topic."

So, irrespective of whether you will have successfully completed all your courses except Thesis study by the end of this Fall semester or not, you MUST declare your thesis topics on or before the date given above. Otherwise, the system will not allow you to take any courses, including but not limited to Thesis Study.
