Electronics Engineering
General Information
The pace of progress in electronics engineering during the last decades has been breathtaking, and today, electronics engineering affects every aspect of our society from medicine, communication, software to satellites. Consequently, electronics engineers are highly demanded, well rewarded, and practically are employed in every branch of industry and commerce. The department aims to educate and train students who could pursue research, and perform engineering tasks at the highest levels.
Electronic Engineering which is in the forefront of production and use of science and technology is one of the repidly changing and evolving engineering branch.
Nowadays, the areas of study include various topics of industry and science such as the production of optical communication systems design, computer liflere, radar, satellite communication, the phased electronic medical device construction and defence technologies, control systems, the robot construction.
Its mission is to help graduate and undergraduate students gain the ability of engineering and researching of the highest standards, and to train engineers with advanced capabilities of anaysis and design who will contribute to the progress in technology. The department has a young an dynamic staff to fulfil this mission.
The curriculum is prepared to teach both the theory and the practice in electronics engineering. The courses given cover a wide range of topics to educate expert engineers in their own field of interest.
The collaboration and cooperation of the faculty members with different institutes under TÜBİTAK-MAM (Turkish Scientific Research Council) enable our students to get experience through participation in a variety of scientific projects.
Students with a certain grade avarage have the opportunity to get a second diploma or a certificate by doing double major and minor
A quality and contemporary education is provided in equipped laboratories.
