The Sustainability Office, Institute of Earth and Marine Sciences, and Institute of Biotechnology jointly organized our Sustainability Talks with the aim of a sustainable world. The first guest of these talks was Prof. Dr. Burcu ÖZSOY, the President of TÜBİTAK MAM, who delivered a speech titled "Climate Change and Turkey" on Friday, December 22nd, at 3:00 PM. Held in the Amphitheater-1 of the Institute of Biotechnology, the talk covered the significance of glaciers in climate change, Turkey's research activities in the polar regions, potential disasters resulting from climate change, and possible impacts of these disasters on Turkey. We extend our gratitude to Prof. Dr. Burcu ÖZSOY for her enlightening presentation and for sharing her valuable experiences regarding glaciers.
