2023 Summer Internship Announcement

Important Note for MBG Students:

All internship paperwork must be completed by 9 June 2023.

Important dates to follow during application

Within the internship program of our department, 30+ interns will be accepted between 19 June and 17 September 2023.

The application deadline is April 28, 2023.

The candidates can also contact with the academic staff in charge of the laboratory that they want to do their internship. It is planned that the Intern Acceptance List will be announced on our Department Website on May 23, 2023, after the names of the candidates who are accepted in this way are submitted to the Internship Committee by the academic staff in charge of the laboratory.

For this please do the following:

1- A letter of intent should be prepared to the academic staff responsible for the laboratory they are interested in [You can find a copy of the letter of intent at the relevant link (sample)],

- In this letter, write the name of the laboratory you contacted and the name of the responsible academic staff as the only choice,

- Also, fill the table given below and place it under the preference. The section marked in yellow is presented as an example.

2- Transcript,

3- CV (must contain two reference contact address information),

All of these three files must be sent to the relevant faculty member via e-mail.

IMPORTANT NOTE 1: Candidates who are accepted from outside the institution are required to submit their insurance documents to the laboratory where they will do their internship at the beginning of the internship.

IMPORTANT NOTE 2: When deciding on the internship days with the faculty member and/or the head of the institution in charge of the laboratory where you will do your internship, we would like to remind you that you should consider the weekend holidays (especially Sunday and accepted if working on Saturday), the public holidays of 2023 (28 June-1 July 2023- Eid-al-Adha; 15 July 2023 Democracy and National Unity Day and 30 August Victory Day).

IMPORTANT NOTE 3: It is not legally possible to accept students who are not insured by their institution (except for the national internship program administered by the Presidency) as voluntary or compulsory interns.
