Laboratory equipment and tools are of great importance for conducting graduate education and any kind of R&D projects. From this point forth, 102 different laboratories furnished with modern equipment have been established at GTU up to now.

GTU - Industry Collaboration

With the need for novel technologies and labor force as a prerequisite of the rapidly-developing industry, scientific projects that will contribute to the manufacturing of high-technology products are conducted, and academic staff and researchers are trained at GTU, which was established as a specialized university as different from other universities that provide classical forms of education.

GTU Lifelong Education Center (GTU SEM)

The Lifelong Education Center at GTU was established with the aim to engage in activities and design projects to educate and improve the most valuable agent of production, which is the “human” agent. In line with its aim of establishment, the Center conducts research for public, private, and international organizations and people in the areas they need, provides counseling for them, plans training programs in various fields, and organizes national and international courses, seminars, conferences, and events. The Center’s mission is to improve the collaboration between GTU and the public, private, and international organizations, serve the Turkish industry and the development of the country, and move this service to an international level.

Faculty Member Training Program (ÖYP)

ÖYP is a program that is conducted under the "Principles and Procedures Governing Faculty Member Training" by Turkish Higher Education Council (YÖK) and dated 16 February 2011, and aims to help institutions in need of academic staff meet this need.

Library

Prof. Nejat Göyünç Library mainly aims to provide its users with information sources in a timely and affordable manner within the framework of our university’s education, teaching and research programs. The library covers an area of 4.177 m2 with several reading halls, group study rooms (for two or more people), and a cafeteria.

Technology Transfer Office

GTU TTO’s main goal is to ensure sustainable collaborations based on mutual trust between the academic staff and professionals from the industry. The Office serves as an intermediary to establish the necessary platforms for using the scientific knowledge and know-how produced at GTU in line with the needs of the industry and to the benefit of the country’s economy.
