Master's Program in Metrology

Metrology Master's Program was opened at Gebze Technical University with the contributions of TUBITAK UME.

The program, which was implemented in order to train highly qualified expert researchers in the field of metrology and to carry out interdisciplinary research on measurement standardization, covers measurement techniques used in the fields of Nanotechnology, Biomedical Engineering and Renewable Energy Technologies, which are the priority research subjects of our country.

This program is aimed at providing interdisciplinary education based on basic sciences such as physics, chemistry, biology, and engineering sciences such as photonics, electronics and materials sciences.

In the Master's Program, 8 courses are opened in the first semester and 14 courses in total. Their contents were prepared by GTU faculty members and TUBITAK UME researchers who are experts in their fields.

Within the scope of the program, TUBITAK UME researchers will be able to provide peer thesis consultancy for students and students will be able to benefit from TUBITAK UME laboratories.

The language of instruction of the program is English, which also provides participation of international students.
