General Information |
OUR PURPOSE Our purpose is to share our Psycho-technique laboratory’s strong and modern infrastructure with our country’s industrial corporations, to contribute to the solution of problems by working in collaboration and to improve the competitiveness of Turkish industry via Industrial Cooperation Program. OUR GOALS The most important goal we want to accomplish in the near future is to serve in the field of traffic psychology. In this context, the insufficiency and inattention levels of drivers who lost driver licenses because of traffic errors and violations are aimed to be measured with quantitative standards. In our renewed laboratory, individual competencies could be assessed in terms of driving. The infrastructure which is needed for evaluations was prepared in advance. PRACTICE AREAS: In our laboratory, objective data for both blue collar and white-collar employee selection is presented to managers and institutions in the following areas: 1. Recruitment and placement: in the process of the placement of new candidates with suitable features and capabilities to appropriate jobs. 2. Screening Studies: in determining of those with development capabilities in existing staff and creating ability and leadership pools, in detecting of their compliance with changing and evolving environments and so in determining adequate and inadequate aspects of them. 3. In the raising, promotion and rotation decisions: Our tests, provides convenience to human resource professionals in decisions such as to raise/rotate appropriate employee to appropriate place via the numerical data presentation. Except for these services, the other areas that you can also benefit from our applications are: • In identifying personality characteristics of managers and professionals, • In gaining individual awareness, • In determining employees' interests, attitudes and values, • In determining employee satisfaction and loyalty, • In assessing individuals in terms of driving, • In measuring the talent and skills to prevent occupational accidents, we can help you with psycho-technique methods. |

I. COMPUTERIZED TESTS DT-RESPONSE RATE AND QUALITY TEST This test is a complex, multi-stimulating response and multiple-choice test. It measures the person’s reactive stress tolerance, attention disorders, and the speed and quality of response under repeatedly and rapidly coming and changing visual and auditory stimuli. SIGNAL- FOLLOW-UP SELECTIVE ATTENTION / CAUTION LEVEL TEST It is a test for long-term selective attention, i.e. for the measurement of visual stimuli, which provides the ability to distinguish the critical stimuli among other stimuli. LVT VISUAL CONTINUITY TEST It is a test of perception in which target oriented visual perception is measured. The test that measures selective attention to the continuity in visual perception and selective attention is designed for adults. COG SUSTAINED ATTENTION AND PROBLEM SOLVING TEST It is an overall performance test aimed to measure selective attention and concentration. TAVTMB TACHISTOSCOPICAL TRAFFIC PERCEPTION TEST It measures visual perception performance and perceptual speed after the images about traffic are shown with short periods of time. It is used both in traffic psychology as well as white collar assesment. FVW CONTINUOUS VISUAL DIFFERENCE SKILLS’ TEST Respondent is presented with concrete-abstract, verbal-nonverbal, meaningful-meaningless figures and words in three main categories and asked whether the stimulus is previously shown. This test is appropriate for test batteries aimed in selection security officials, officials in charge of quality, technical workers and computer programmers. VIGIL PERSISTANCE ASSESSMENT TEST It measures the persistence and attention performance of people who have to make high level attention and continued pursuit/observations in monotonous environments where low-level stimuli exist. DAKT DIFFERENT ATTENTION TEST It is a private non-verbal ability test that measures the speed and accuracy of sensing. It might be applied to the workers who need to compare two different things; such as to secretary or workers of the office, as well as, for example, in the textile industry. TWO-HAND COORDINATION TEST There is a process that needs the coordination of two hands to advance a point on a road. As a result of this process, a person's visual - motor coordination (eye-hand and hand-hand coordination) is measured. In addition, the accuracy and speed measurements for right and left hand can be calculated and compared. It is a test that is applied to employees such as mechanic, crane operator, and laboratory assistants. MLS MOTOR PERFORMANCE SERIES-FINE MOTOR SKILLS ASSESSMENT TEST It measures features like to place small objects in confined spaces to the target areas without error and to make applications without trembling hands. MLS Motor Performance Series measures six different fine motor skills factors: The stability of the hand, Hand - arm movements’ compliance Hand and finger skills Hand - arm movements’ speed Wrist finger speed Targeting of the movement IIB DOUBLE PROCESS SKILLS TEST It measures the ability to make environmental sensing while driving at the same time. The test based on reaction to incoming stimuli from right and left while the candidate’s attention is focused on a task in the face of the steering wheel. HMT-SPEED TEST FOR ESTIMATING DISTANCE The test measures the candidates’ ability to estimate the distance between stimuli moving speed and stimulus. II. EQUIPMENTAL TESTS B101-BONNARDEL’S CUBES CONCRETE INTELLIGENCE TEST It assesses worker’s accident oriented tendencies via measuring their concrete (practical) intelligence levels. B19-TWO HAND AND EYE COORDINATION TEST The test provides a measurement for a person’s hand-eye coordination in a job that should be performed at a predetermined speed. BOS-SUNISOIDAL HAND AND FINGER SKILLS TEST The test provides the measurement of sharpness and thoroughness of the hand and finger movements. Especially, it is used for jobs that require fine and coarse muscle control. BOS-OMEGA HAND SKILLS TEST This test which measures the acuity of hand movements and coordination pushes the candidate into the speed-attention chaos. The performance in this test is significantly affected by skills such as motion control, impulsiveness, lack of thinking in actions, and acting with thinking of the future. PRG SIMPLE REACTION TIME TEST It is a test which measures the speed of cognitive processes such as visual and auditory perception, processing, and motor responses. With this device, it is possible to measure reaction time on the basis of milli-seconds. PRG COMPLEX REACTION TIME TEST The test measures reactive stress tolerance, attention disorders, and reaction rate to rapidly changing continuously visual and auditory stimuli. VTE-VISUAL TEST In order to understand visual adequacy or inadequacy quickly and easily, all the tests are collected in a single tool. III. PAPER-PENCIL TEST PM38-RAVEN’S STANDARD DEVELOPMENT MATRICES INTELLIGENCE TEST It is a general non-verbal intelligence test which measures to think through deduction for individuals with an average capacity. PMA-RAVEN’S ADVANCED DEVELOPMENT MATRICES INTELLIGENCE TEST It is a non-verbal test that measures to think through deduction. There are some new and more difficult items in the test which is a new version of PM38. MGM PIRE INTELLIGENCE TEST It is a numerical intelligence test which can assess reasoning, the degree of flexibility or narrow-mindedness, and analytical structure of intelligence. KR34-KOUTEYNIKOFF'S NUMERICAL SERIES INTELLIGENCE TEST It is a numerical 25-minute IQ test that can be applied to individuals over the age of 11. It is used in cases where basic math skills comes forward for positions such as accounting personnel, inventory tracking personnel, the bank box office staff, sales personnel, data entry clerk, office machine operators, secretaries, and insurance sales person. KR26-KOUTEYNIKOFF'S PATTERN COMPLETION SERIES INTELLIGENCE TEST It measures the ability to discover the rules. QMF-SUCCESS MOTIVATION TEST It measures the method of individuals to shape their work and provides objective results on the success of the motivations. The test has 3 sub-dimensions: need for achievement, locus of control and time management. |
