Teaching Mobility

This activity allows HEI teaching staff or staff from enterprises to teach at a partner HEI abroad. Staff mobility for teaching can be in any subject area/academic discipline. 

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Being employed in an Higher Education Institution with Erasmus Charter
2. Applying for a partner university
3. Teaching Programme confirmed and signed by both sending and receiving institution

 Duration of the Activity

From 2 days to 2 months, excluding travel time. In all cases, a teaching activity has to comprise minimum 8 hours of teaching per week (or any lower period of stay).

Application

Staff shall apply at GTU Erasmus Office within the announced application period by submiting below documents.

1. Acceptance/Invitation Letter from the receiving institution which must include “teaching mobility within Erasmus+ Programme”.
2. Teaching Programme states the teaching details and days. If the original document is not submitted during the application period due to postal reasons, a scanned copy will be accepted. The original document must be submitted to Erasmus Office in any case. Grant allocation is done depending on the number of teaching days. 

Pre-mobility Documents

1. Academic Staff Information Form (Please click for codes)
2. Grant Agreement (in two copies) and bank account document received from the bank or a screenshot of internet account. Grant will be paid in Euro. Therefore, the related bank account must EUR account.
3. Assignment Paper stating teaching mobility within Erasmus+ Staff Training Programme officially issued by the related unit (Faculty, Institute, etc.)

Post-mobility Documents

1. Final teaching programme signed and stamped at the end of the mobility
2. Final Report
3. Confirmation Letter provided by receiving institution
4. Flight Tickets and boarding pass (original or copy)
5. Pages including in-out stamps of passport (copy)

 Grant

Grant to be paid covers daily wage and travel support fee determined according to European Commission distance calculator. Grant will be paid in Euro.
