Exam Information for YÖS Students Registered Between 2-6 October

Dear GTU Undergraduate Students,

Examination information for the students who registered to our school as foreign students between 2-6 October is as shown in the table:

Exam duration is 180 minutes. There are a total of 80 questions in the exam. The exam is multiple choice, consisting of Listening (note taking & while listening), use of English, vocabulary and reading sections. The exam will start with the "listening" part and candidates who arrive late will not be admitted to the "listening" part.

During the exam, all students must present their student IDs and Turkish Republic ID cards. It is mandatory to have their ID with them. If you do not have a student ID, a student certificate obtained from the student affairs office or via the e-government system is also accepted. Foreign students are required to have their passports with them. Students who do not have any identification card will not be allowed into the exam.

After the relevant exams, information about which class you will start studying in and academic information will be published on our website. You must come to classes as of Friday, October 6th.

Qualifying exam results will be announced on the day of the exam. If you have passed the proficiency exam, you do not need to take the placement test.
