2 OCTOBER 2023 LEVEL DETERMINATION EXAM INFORMATION
Dear GTÜ Undergraduate Preparatory Department Students,
There will be a Level Determination Exam on Monday, October 2, 2023 for our students who are confirmed to study in the Preparatory Department according to the results of the undergraduate English proficiency exam held on Wednesday, September 20, 2023. This one-hour exam will be administered in two sessions. First session will be carried out between 10:00 – 11:00 and second session between 11:15 – 12:15 Click here to find out in which building and at what time you will take the exam .

IMPORTANT NOTE THE EXAM IN ONE SESSION ONLY . THE REASON FOR HAVING THE EXAM IN TWO SESSIONS IS THAT THE NUMBER OF STUDENTS IS TOO LARGE. IN OTHER WORDS, THE EXAM TO BE TAKEN IN BOTH SESSIONS IS THE SAME LEVEL DETERMINATION EXAM AND EACH STUDENT WILL TAKE THE EXAM IN ONLY ONE SESSION . |
It is very important that you take the placement test to determine your English level. If you do not attend, you will have to start classes directly from the " Elementary " level. Starting lessons without determining your English level will be a big disadvantage for you. Because the course period will cover one year and you will not have the right to change classes.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Only 2023 admission students will take this exam. Preparatory department students who registered in 2022 or earlier will NOT take this exam as they do not have the right to take courses.

ORIENTATION INFORMATION:
On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday , October 3-4-5 , 2023 , there will be orientation sessions of the Foreign Languages Department and other departments for our newly registered students. The orientation calendar will be shared in the coming days. All Preparatory Department students will be required to attend the orientations specified in the program. IT IS MANDATORY to attend . Orientations are in Hall 1 of the convention center (white hall)
Face-to-face classes will start as of Friday , October 6, 2023 , and absences will be taken as of this date. Therefore, after the class lists for the relevant day are announced, you must be in your class at the class time determined according to your course schedule.
