18 SEPTEMBER 2023 Graduate English Proficiency Exam

GTU Graduate Candidate Students,

The English Proficiency Exam for Graduate Applications will be held face to face at our university on Monday, 18 September 2023. In addition to the students who have just applied for the exam, students who have failed from previous semesters will also be able to take the exam. Applications will be received by the Registrar's Office until Friday, 15 September 2023. The list of those whose documents have been approved will be announced by the Registrar's Office on Saturday, 16 September 2023 on the website of our university. The announcement of the candidates who will take the exam, together with the hall information, will be made on the website of our department on the same day. 

EXAM INFORMATION

Date: 18.09.2023

Time: 10:00 - 13:00

Exam duration is 180 minutes.

Exam questions are multiple choice. The question distribution is as follows:

Vocabulary: 10 questions

Grammar: 25 questions

Cloze-test: 5 questions

Sentence completion: 5 questions

Translation: 10 questions

Reading Comprehension: 20 questions

Paragraph completion: 5 questions
