ENGLISH PROFICIENCY EXAM FOR GRADUATE EDUCATION APPLICATIONS

About June 1, 2023 Graduate English Proficiency Exam

Dear GTU Candidate Graduate Students,

English Proficiency Exam for Graduate Education Applications will be held face-to-face at our university on Thursday, June 1, 2023. Applications will be received by the Registrar's Office until Friday, May 26, 2023. The list of those whose documents have been approved will be announced on the website of our university on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, by the Registrar's Office. The announcement of the candidate students who will take the exam, together with the hall information, will be made on the website of our department until the end of the working day on Wednesday, May 31, 2023. 

EXAM INFORMATION

Date: 1.06.2023

Time: 10:00 - 13:00

Exam duration is 180 minutes.

Exam questions are multiple choice. The question distribution is as follows:

Vocabulary: 10 questions

Grammar: 25 questions

Cloze-test: 5 questions

Sentence completion: 5 questions

Translation: 10 questions

Reading Comprehension: 20 questions

Paragraph completion: 5 questions
