ÖZET

Enzymes are catalysts that are responsible for acceleration of chemical reactions. Enzyme catalysis is required for nearly all of the metabolic activities in a cell to proceed at speeds quick enough to support life. Nowadays, enzymes also take part in industrial applications with huge demand by estimating reaching market size approximately USD 15.03 Billion at 2032 owing their advantages. Biocatalysis has many advantages, such as higher selectivity and specificity, lower toxicity, and lower operating costs, all of which lessen the environmental effect of industrial operations supporting a green, sustainable, biobased economy. Depending on increasing demand in biocatalysis provides to come in sight of new and emerging applications helping drive demand for industrial enzymes.
Alanin dehydrogenase utilized for various applications of biotechnological, food and pharma industries; asparaginase widely used to treat acute lymphoblastic leukemia and to prevent acrylamide formation in food, laccase benefited in textile, paper and pulp, biosensor and bioremediation; amylase also used in food, detergent, paper and pharmaceuticals are some of the common enzymes in industrial field.
