GTU Academic Receives Invitation from MFO

Asst. Prof. Nursel Erey (PhD) from the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science, GTU, has recently received an invitation the Mathematisches Forschungsinstitut Oberwolfach (MFO, Oberwolfach Research Institute for Mathematics).

Having received an invitation for the "Research in Pairs" program at MFO in Germany, Erey will be conducting research under the program in the field of commutative algebra. She will be working in a team consisting of leading mathematicians in this field, including Prof. Jürgen Herzog, PhD (University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany); Prof. Takayuki Hibi, PhD (Osaka University, Japan), Sara Saedi Madani, PhD (Amirkabir University of Technology, Iran). As GTU Family, we wish Dr. Erey continued success.
