GTU Student Makes It To Finals With "Easy Farm"

The project titled "Easy Farm", which was prepared by GTU Electronics Engineering Master's student Mert Güler and his teammate Burak Özbek, achieved significant success by making it to the finals in TÜBİTAK's Individual Young Enterprise (BİGG) Techno-Initiative Capital Support Program. 

Following the training he received under the Entrepreneurship Workshop within GTU, our student Mert Güler and his teammate Burak Özbek, who is a KOSGEB Entrepreneurship Support Program participant and an Electrical Electronics Engineer, went on to the finals in the second call of TÜBİTAK BİGG Techno-Initiative Capital Support Program for 2018 with their project titled "Easy Farm".  In addition, it was reported that the product that is part of the project was selected for the acceleration camp at the Knowledge Commercialization Center of Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (İTO) and completed its prototype stage, and is currently in the investment interviews stage.

GTU Rector Professor Muhammed Hasan Aslan (PhD) had the team as guests in his office, where they talked about the project. Professor Aslan said entrepreneur students are always given full support by GTU and congratulated the team on their success.
