Monoclonal Antibodies and Their Side-Effects Discussed at GTU Biotechnology Seminars

At the Biotechnology Seminar Series, organized by GTU's Institute of Biotechnology, Faculty Member Prof. Zafer Güney (PhD) from Gazi University's Medical Pharmacology Program was this week's guest speaker.

In the seminar, Güney talked about biotechnological drugs, production of monoclonal antibodies, their limitations and therapeutic applications, use of monoclonal antibodies in anti-tumor treatments and their possible side-effects.

At the end of the seminar, Prof. Güney held a Q&A session and answered the participants' questions.
