Internship Opportunity for GTU Students at TEI

GTU and TEI sign protocol on Student Internship Program

A protocol titled "Student Internship Program" was signed on September 24, 2018 between GTU and TEI (TUSAŞ Engine Industries Inc.) at TEI's campus in Eskişehir. GTU Rector Prof. Muhammed Hasan Aslan (PhD), TEI Chairman of the Board of Directors Temel Kotil, TEI General Manager Mahmut F. Akşit, and GTU Acting Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Prof. Bülent Akbaş (PhD) were present at the protocol signing ceremony. With the protocol signed, 3rd and 4th year students studying at GTU's Departments including Materials Science and Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering and Mechanical Engineering will be eligible to be admitted to the long-term internship program at TEI. As a result of the program, young prospective engineers are expected to blend the theoretical knowledge they have gained at GTU with what they learn from the engineers' experiences at TEI, and put it into practice in a way that will contribute to Turkey's defense and aviation industry.
