GTU To Offer OHS Training For Employers and Employer Representatives

A collaboration protocol titled "Training On Occupational Health And Safety Services To Be Provided By Employers Or Employer Representatives At Workplaces" was signed on July 12, 2018 between GTU and the Turkish Ministry of Labor, Social Services and Family. 

Within the scope of the protocol, GTU will offer a 16-hour online OHS training course for employers and employer representatives.  The participants who successfully complete the trainings and receive a certificate of completion will earn the right to take the "OHS Representative Exam", conducted by the Ministry. Those who pass the exam will be able to provide occupational health and safety services within their workplaces, on the condition that the workplace has less than fifty employees and the work is categorized as low hazard.
