Iranian University Rectors Visit GTU

GTU hosts the rectors and faculty of the University of Tabriz and Sharif University of Technology within the scope of its scientific and technological collaborations 

GTU had signed mutual protocols with the University of Tabriz and Sharif University of Technology from Iran in December 2017 to develop education and research collaboration on higher education level. Within the scope of the protocols signed, a  committee consisting of the rectors, faculty and representatives of the aforesaid universities recently visited GTU to discuss the mutual current and future projects. The committee was hosted by GTU Rector Prof. Muhammed Hasan Aslan (PhD) and the related members of GTU. Following the meeting at the Rectorate Building at GTU, the Iranian committee, led by Prof. Mohammad Reza Pour Mohammadi, Rector of the University of Tabriz, and Prof. Mahmud Fotuhi Firuzabad, Rector of Sharif University of Technology, visited several faculties, departments and laboratories at GTU campus and were informed about the activities carried out at these places.
