GTU and Hektaş Collaborate for "National Agriculture"

GTU has just made another important contribution to university-industry collaboration by signing a collaboration protocol with Hektaş, the OYAK company with "National Agriculture" objective. At the signing ceremony, which was held on May 15, 2018 at the Senate's room at GTU, Acting Rector Prof. Muhammed Hasan Aslan (PhD) signed the protocol on behalf of GTU and Hektaş CEO Levent Ortakçıer signed the protocol on behalf Hektaş. Within the scope of the signed protocol, R&D activities in the field of plant protection, plant nutrition, smart agriculture applications, and seed improvement will be carried out and thus agricultural productivity will be increased. The products to be obtained as a result of R&D activities are also planned to be imported in addition to being distributed in Turkey.
