New Generation of Environmental Engineers Will Grow at GTU

GTU Accepts Bachelor Environmental Engineering Students for the First Time
Gebze Technical University, one of Turkey’s top 10 universities, will accept bachelor students to Environmental Engineering Department which plays an important role on the national and international arena. These bachelor students to be the first at Environmental Engineering Department which has been providing education on Masters and Doctorate level so far, will find the opportunity to work with academic members having a career on international level one to one in the light of new generation technologies.

In 2016-2017 academic year, Gebze Technical University (GTU) will accept 30 bachelor students to Environmental Engineering Department which was founded in 1994 and has been providing education only on Masters and Doctorate level up to this fall semester. With its 20 academic members most of whom have doctorate degree from international universities, academic staff composing of 48 people in total, modern building having 1300 m2 laboratory area, 16 research laboratories holding advanced measuring devices, Environmental Engineering Department offers a great capacity of carrying out numerous projects and academic studies at the same time.

Furthermore, the bachelor students to be the first at the department, will have bigger advantages at GTU in comparison with other universities in terms of scholarship, training and job opportunities.
