The Institutional Volleyball League Champion Gebze Technical University

Gebze Technical University (GTU), won The Institutional Volleyball League Championship organized by Gebze District Governor, Gebze Municipality, Gebze Youth Services and Sports District Directorate. 33 teams participated in The Institutional Volleyball League and the finalist of the last three years Inonu Secondary School was defeated by Gebze Technical University.

Gebze Technical University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Babur Ozcelik, Gebze Youth Services and Sports District Directorate Gökhan Yavaşer, Prison Gendarme Commander Emrullah Gündoğdu and many supporters watched the final match played at 20:00 on June June 5, 2016.

At the end of the tournament, the highest ranking teams and players were given their awards by Gebze Technical University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Babür Özçelik, Gebze Youth Services and Sports District Directorate Gökhan Yavaşer, Prison Gendarme Commander Emrullah Gündoğdu, Volleyball Provincial Representative Zülkarni Gülhan and volleyball referees. Ceren Salman from Gebze Technical University Volleyball Team was given award of most valuable female player and Hamza Çolak was given the most valuable male player. Raising the championship cup, GTU Volleyball Team celebrated this great victory with fans having come to watch the match.
