University-Industry Collaboration with Ayhanlar Holding

A new university-industry collaboration begins between Gebze Technical University and Ayhanlar Holding following a signed agreement.

Gebze Technical University (GTU), committed to supporting the development, transformation, and R&D production of various sectors, has added another partnership to its university-industry collaborations by signing a cooperation protocol with Ayhanlar Holding, a company that has been operating in the construction sector for many years. The protocol, which covers collaboration in many areas of activity, was signed at the Holding's Istanbul office by GTU Rector Prof. Dr. Hacı Ali Mantar and Murat Ayhan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ayhanlar Holding. GTU academics and holding employees also attended the signing ceremony.

The protocol aims to develop joint activities between the company and the relevant departments and divisions of the university on university-industry collaboration topics, and to ensure that the collaboration is conducted effectively and sustained over time. Under the protocol, there will be cooperation in terms of projects supported by the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye, TÜBİTAK, and TEYDEB, matching company-faculty member R&D projects, international R&D project support and partner search, access to new technologies and collaborations, final year projects for bachelor's degree students, projects for master's theses and doctoral dissertations, employment support, scholarships and part-time employment for students, long and short-term internships, certificate programs offered by GTU Continuing Education Center, trainings organized by the university, seminars and other events sharing industrial production experiences, and the creation of academic resources in the form of documents for joint company-university activities.
