Ramadan Unity at GTU

Iftar meals organized for students, alumni, academic and administrative staff at GTU come to an end with broad participation.

Iftar meals at the Gebze Technical University (GTU) campus, organized by the GTU Rectorate, provided an opportunity for increased sharing and unity during the month of Ramadan. The student iftar meal took place on March 22, the alumni iftar meal on March 23, and finally, the academic and administrative staff iftar meal on March 27, where fasts were broken together, and the joy of Ramadan was shared. GTU Rector Prof. Dr. Hacı Ali Mantar, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Elif Damla Arısan, Prof. Dr. Mahmut Durmuş, and Prof. Dr. Hasari Çelebi, GTU Secretary-General Nadir Yıldırım, deans, and academics attended the iftar meals.

In his speeches at each iftar meal, GTU Rector Prof. Dr. Hacı Ali Mantar spoke about the importance of unity and solidarity for the university, expressing that GTU's successes will increase exponentially with this harmony. During the student iftar meal, Rector Prof. Dr. Hacı Ali Mantar announced good news for the campus, stating that with the opening of the student dormitory in the fall semester, new social opportunities will be added to the campus, aiming to achieve a campus that lives 24/7. At the alumni iftar meal, the GTU Rector emphasized that successful universities are the ones that do not sever ties with their alumni, expressing that meetings with the alumni will diversify and increase. During the academic and administrative staff iftar meal, GTU Rector Prof. Dr. Hacı Ali Mantar thanked everyone who successfully fulfills their duties and responsibilities, expressing his satisfaction with sharing the blessings of Ramadan together and thanking the GTU family for their participation.
