Foundation's Board of Trustees Meet

The 14th Board of Trustees Meeting of the Gebze Technical Education and Research Foundation is held at GTU.

The 14th Board of Trustees Meeting of Gebze Technical Education and Research Foundation, which works to enhance the university's research capacity and expand opportunities for students, was held. In addition to the GTU administration, the meeting was attended by Fikri Işık, Former Deputy Prime Minister; Mustafa Güler, District Governor of Tekirdağ Süleymanpaşa; İbrahim Karaosmanoğlu, Former Mayor of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality; Ayhan Zeytinoğlu, Chairman of the Board of Kocaeli Chamber of Industry; Abdurrahman Aslantaş, Chairman of the Board of Gebze Chamber of Commerce; Mehmet Ali Okur, Chairman of the Board and General Manager of Marmara Teknokent; academics; and industrialists who are members of the foundation's board of trustees.

The meeting, held at Gebze Technical University (GTU) Congress and Cultural Center, began with a moment of silence and the national anthem. Prof. Dr. Hacı Ali Mantar, GTU Rector and Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Chairman of the Board of Gebze Technical Education and Research Foundation, delivered the opening speech and read the foundation's activity report. GTU Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Mahmut Durmuş provided information about the university. After the opening of the general assembly and the formation of the council board, agenda items were discussed and put to a vote. At the end of the meeting, a family photo was taken, and a fast-breaking dinner was eaten.
