Science Talks 2024

GTU has held the first of its Science Talks for 2024. 

The "Science Talks" event held at the GTU Congress and Cultural Center under the coordination of the Gebze Technical University (GTU) Research and Development Committee was attended by GTU Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Işıl Kurnaz, speakers, academics, and students.

As part of the event, Associate Professor Dr. Didem Unat from Koç University's Faculty of Engineering presented on "Software for Supercomputers," Associate Professor Dr. Sadiye Velioğlu from GTU's Institute of Nanotechnology presented on "Membrane Technology in Gas Separation and Solvent Recovery," and Professor Dr. Bünyemin Çoşut from GTU's Faculty of Science, Department of Chemistry, presented on "Luminescent Molecules," sharing their valuable research.

Following the presentations, Associate Professor Dr. Sadiye Velioğlu and Professor Dr. Bünyemin Çoşut were presented with certificates for the TÜBA-GEBİP awards they received earlier this year.
