Python Language and Data Science Training for GTU Academics

Gebze Technical University (GTU) has started offering coding and computing courses to its staff by adding internationally-standardized computing content to its undergraduate and graduate curricula. Approximately 100 academic staff members registered for the "Python Language and Data Science for GTU Academic Staff" training course, presented by Research Assistants Başak Buluz Kömeçoğlu and Fatma Nur Esirci from the Department of Computer Engineering.

The training, which began in the seminar halls of the Computer Engineering Department, will continue for a total of 9 hours across two different sessions. During practical sessions, undergraduate and graduate students will also provide guidance to participants to gain practical experience. Furthermore, similar training programs are planned to be offered in the future, aiming to provide an environment for researchers from different departments and institutes to collaborate on computing-related topics, with enriched content in advanced stages.
