GTU and RAM Sign Collaboration Agreement

Gebze Technical University (GTU) has added a new collaboration to its activities for the benefit of society by signing a collaboration agreement with Gebze Guidance and Research Center (RAM). The agreement was signed in the GTU Senate Hall by GTU Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Mahmut Durmuş, Gebze District National Education Director Şener Doğan, and Gebze Guidance and Research Center Director Mustafa İşlek. GTU Rector Adviser and a Faculty Member of the Department of Management, Prof. Dr. Meral Elçi, was also present at the signing ceremony.

This agreement, facilitating cooperation and coordination between GTU and Gebze RAM, aims to plan supportive education activities for individuals with special needs. It particularly focuses on enhancing students' interest and motivation through the light of science and improving the quality of all educational services. The goals include the development of education programs, the increase of instructor competencies through practical training activities, and providing support to students and families in their social, cultural, and professional development. Additionally, GTU academic and administrative staff will be supported with awareness seminars and training to have general knowledge about individuals with special needs and related diagnoses. Within the scope of the agreement, the institutions will collaborate on research and social responsibility projects, seminars and workshops, extracurricular activities, and field studies.
