GTU Among World's Sustainable Universities

GTU takes its place among the "Top Sustainable Universities in the World" in QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2024

The report for the Sustainability Rankings 2024, prepared by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), a UK-based higher education ranking organization, has been released. Gebze Technical University (GTU), has ranked 12th among the universities in Türkiye in the QS World University Rankings:  Sustainability 2024, securing the 434, 493, and 514 band in the global rankings for Environmental Education, Knowledge Exchange, and Environmental Impact, respectively—the strongest indicators in the ranking. In terms of overall performance, GTU has been placed in the 881-900 band.

The Sustainability Ranking System evaluates universities in three categories: Environmental Impact, Social Impact, and Governance Impact. In the ranking, a total of 23 universities from Türkiye, including 18 public and 5 private institutions, were included.
