SMARTNET Committee Meeting Held at GTU

Committee Meeting of SMARTNET, the innovation and entrepreneurship project with which GTU is a project partner, is hosted by GTU. 

The committee meeting for SMARTNET (Smart Network for Technology Transfer and Commercialization by Funnel Method) project was held at GTU Congress and Cultural Center with the participation of GTU Rector Prof. Dr. Hacı Ali Mantar; Yıldız Technical University Rector Prof. Dr. Tamer Yılmaz; Hasan Kalyoncu University Rector Prof. Dr. Türkay Dereli; Istanbul Technical University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Güloğlu;  delegations of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the EU; the consortium; YTU Technopark, GTU TTO, and GTU Technopark officials. 

The innovation and entrepreneurship project SMARTNET is carried out within the scope of the Competitive Sectors Program of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, with the financial support of Türkiye and the EU, under the coordination of Yıldız Technical University, in project partnership with Istanbul Technical University, Hasan Kalyoncu University, and Gebze Technical University. Under the project, activities are being conducted to increase industrial and industrial property rights, technology products, service capacity, and trade and export volume of Türkiye by developing collaboration among platforms such as technoparks, technology transfer offices, incubation centers, and so on.  SMARTNET aims to be an important platform where the stakeholders of the whole ecosystem meet and work together, which will serve the strong and international dimension, determine the right matches with the help of artificial intelligence, and provide infrastructure in this context.
