GTU Chemistry Students Put On Their Lab Coats

A "Lab Coat Ceremony" was organized for the freshmen students of the Department of Chemistry at GTU. 

GTU Rector Prof. Dr. Hacı Ali Mantar, Faculty of Science Dean Prof. Dr. Ramazan Altundaş, and Chemistry Department Head Prof. Dr. Serap Beşli provided the students with inspiring advice about the science and industry of chemistry in Turkey and in the world while Chemists' Association President İkram Cengiz, Marmara Branch Director Fuat Uluçay, and Info Industry Scientific and Technical Devices Manager Fatih M. Güner shared their experiences about chemistry in economy and industry, occupational organization, and personnel information. 

The ceremony came to end with the students putting on their lab coats and taking pictures.
