14 JUNE 2024 UNDERGRADUATE ENGLISH PROFICIENCY EXAM CLASS LISTS

Dear GTU Undergraduate Preparatory Department Students,

The 2023-2024 Academic Year spring term undergraduate English proficiency exam will be held face to face on Friday, June 14, 2024, between 10:00 - 13:00 . Exam duration is 180 minutes.

There are a total of 80 questions in the exam. Listening ( note taking & while listening), use of English, vocabulary and reading sections, is multiple choice. The exam will start with the " listening " part and candidates who arrive late will not be admitted to the " listening " part.

All students are required to have their student IDs or TR IDs with them during the exam. If you do not have a student ID, a student certificate obtained from the student affairs office or via the e-government system is also accepted. Foreign students are required to have their passports with them. Students who do not have any identification card will not be allowed into the exam.

If you do not see your name on the lists, you should send an e-mail to foreigndillersinav@gtu.edu.tr during the day , introducing yourself (name, surname and class) and explaining your situation.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• Our old-entry students do not need to take any action to take the exam. They must be present in the relevant classroom on the exam day and time.
• Students who entered in 2023 and whose academic year average is not 65 or above, or students who entered in 2023 and FAILED DUE TO ABSENTEE, CANNOT take this exam.
• Exam results will be shared on our department website. Please visit our website regularly for exam results.
