In line with the Information Technology Policy, the email quota for graduate students has been set to 200 MB.

Within this scope, the emails in your email account and your OneDrive data will be automatically deleted by the system three (3) months after 20.03.2026. Your email accounts will remain active and available for use.

To avoid any data loss, you are required to use the forwarding option in the Settings section to redirect incoming emails to another email address, download a backup of your emails to your computer by following the steps below, and transfer your OneDrive data to a different storage service.

Backing Up Your Outlook Email

1. Select File > Open & Export > Import/Export.

2. Select Export to a file, and then click Next.

3. Select Outlook Data File (.pst), and then click Next.

4. Select the mail folder you want to back up, and then click Next.

5. Choose a location and a name for your backup file, and then click Finish.

6. To ensure that no one can access your files, enter and confirm a password, and then click OK.
