iThenticate - Academic Plagiarism Control Program (For Article)
The "iThenticate" program, which was opened to the use of our university in order to prevent plagiarism in academic publications and to evaluate academic publications directly, as per the decision of the TÜBİTAK Science Board dated 9 July 2011 and numbered 199, has a comprehensive academic content.
Note: According to the license agreement, iThenticate program can be used by faculty members (Dr. Lecturer, Associate Professor, Prof.Dr.). However, other academic staff who have completed their doctorate will be able to use the program, provided that they document their course obligations (the document must be sent with the registration request e-mail).
- To detect the level of plagiarism (scientific information theft) before evaluating academic studies,
- iThenticate; It is a program for faculty members to check their draft academic articles (unpublished) for plagiarism.
- iThenticate Program should not be used for plagiarism detection of student assignments and theses.
It is widely used worldwide by publishers and educational institutions to determine the originality of the work.
Our academic staff who want to use the program should send their Name, Surname and GTU e-mail information to the e-mail address email@example.com.
Our academic staff who submit their information will be registered to the program and their passwords will be automatically sent to their e-mail addresses.
