How to access databases remotely with the VETİS Off-Campus Access System:
- In order to access electronic resources from anywhere, you must activate your Vetis Off-Campus Access System membership.
- In order to use VETİS, you must have a library membership (if you have borrowed from the library before, that means you have a library membership).
- Our users who do not have a membership must register with their "@gtu.edu.tr" e-mail address and student number/personnel registration number in the registration section (SIGN IN/REGISTER). (If you receive a warning that you are already registered in the system, click the Forgot Password button to get a new password. If you do not receive password information on your e-mail address, please send an e-mail to: kutuphane@gtu.edu.tr)
- Our users can access VETİS from the "Off-Campus Access System" section on the left menu of our library web page, or by using the VETİS [Off-Campus Access] link from the menu on the left after logging in with the membership information (username, password) on the library catalog browsing screen.
Note: The same user name and password are used in the Library Automation System (Catalog Scanning) and the Vetis Off-Campus Access System. However, in order to log on to the Library Automation System (Catalog Scanning), your library membership must be active. This does not apply to Vetis.
