E-Mail Setup in Thunderbird Software

Step 1: Please select E-mail as shown in the picture below.

Step 2: Please define E-MAIL and PASSWORD fields with gtu.edu.tr extension as shown in the following illustration.

For IMAP settings, we are doing outlook.office365.com Port (993) SSL part (SSL / TLS) in the IMAP section.

In the SMTP section we are doing the smtp.office365.com Port (587) SSL part (STARTTLS).

After you write your email address with gtu.edu.tr extension in user name, we test by pressing Re-test button.

When the test operation is completed, pressing the Done Button complete the process.
