| General Information | Observing surfaces and cross-sections of metals, ceramics, composites, polymers, coatings, thin film materials with Scanning Electron Microscopy. Also used for characterizing the shape and the particle size o powder samples.With the EDAX detector mounted on the microscope,it is possible to view linear mapping, precise spot on the field and elemental anaylsis on bulk and coatings. Also, it is posssible to coat non-conductive materials with gold sputtering device so they can be analyzed and characterized. |
