Applications In this laboratory;
• Graduate studies about plastic injection molding, 
• Academic projects such as TÜBİTAK projects and GYTE BAP projects,
• Mechanical tests for standard test samples of different thermoplastics materials from the industrial demands are carried out.
Equipment Equipments found in laboratory

1.1. Injection Molding Machine: YIZUMI-UN90A2 injection machine with 125 gr shot weight, 900 kN clamping force, WENSUI 5HP power cooling system and maximum 95 oC settable mold conditioner is found. Injection molding machine found in laboratory is shown Figure 1, mold conditioner is shown in Figure 2 and cooler is shown in Figure 3. Technical specifications of injection molding machine, mold conditioner and cooler are given in Table 1, 2 and 3, respectively. Also, mold designed for standard test samples is shown in Figure 4.

1.2. Crushing Machine: It is used for recycling of manufactured materials at plastic injection molding machine (Figure 5). Technical specifications of this machine are given in Table 4.

1.3. Impact Pendulum: Manual INSTRON (Ceast 9050) having touch-screen display, automatic hammer repositioning is used for strength measurements (Figure 6). Technical specifications of this test device can be seen in Table 5.

1.4. Melt Flow Index Device: Devotrans-EA3 model with maximum 300 oC capacity, time adjusted, ± %1 sensitivity, automatic cutting property is used for melt flow index measurements (Figure 7).
