Research interest:
- Synthesis of phthalocyanines with high efficiency in solar energy conversion
- Incorporation in devices and tests of this efficiency in the framework of the collaboration with the University of Bayreuth (Germany) 
- Synthesis of photosensiting phthalocyanines suitable for photodynamic therapy (water-soluble, functionalised or cancer targeting) and measurement of their photophysical and photochemical properties
-Collaboration with Turkish and/or international biology and medicine departments for in vitro and in vivo efficiency evaluation
- Design and synthesis of liquid crystalline phthalocyanines and oximes to be used as chemical sensors 
- Synthesis of phthalocyanines and related porphyrins exhibiting non linear optical behavior and measurements of related physical properties in collaboration with the ENS Lyon (France) and Gazi University (Turkey)
- Design and synthesis of porphyrins and phthalocyanines likely to behave as single magnets molecules (collaboration with Lyon1 France)
- Providing assistance and help on requests of industrials on related topics
