Right to Information
Right to Information Act came into force on 24 April 2004 in Turkey. The "Regulation on the Basis and Procedures for the Application of Right to Information Act", which is one of the most important regulations in Turkish public administration, was published on 27 April 2004 in the Official Gazette of Turkish Republic.
Right to Information Application Forms: |
Requested information or documents are supplied to applicants within 15 work days of receipt of application. In the event that the application entails more than one institution or organization, the requested information or documents are supplied within 30 work days, and the applicant is informed about such time extension within the first 15 work days. |
