Can I determine my own e-mail address name?

Your address will be appointed as the initial of your first name and your full surname. If this mail address had been given to somebody else before, there will be arrangements according to that.

What should I do if I forgot my e-mail password?

Personally, you should apply to the mail address given with a document showing your identity.

What are e-mail programme access info?

You can access your e-mail with this link: https://portal.gtu.edu.tr

While I am changing my e-mail password I receive “present password given does not meet the basic security requirements. If you need help, please contact technical support”. Why?

You should apply to technical support at A Block - Information Technologies Department.

What should I do to have a software installed on my computer?

Only programmes licensed by the school are installed on your computer. You should apply to technical support in Foreign Languages building to have them installed.

What should I do to have access out of the campus?

My laptop that have internet access at home does not at school. Why?

Programmes which enables to access some foreign websites are unsuitable for the school’s basis. Please remove/deactivate these programmes and try again.
