Project by GTU Faculty Member and His Student Selected Turkey Finalist for Hello Tomorrow

The first 20 finalists for startups have been determined in the competition annually organized by Hello Tomorrow, which is defined on its website as "a non-profit organisation bringing together a community of actors aiming to unlock the potential of deep technologies to solve the world's toughest challenges". This year, over 4500 startups from 119 different countries worldwide have joined the challenge. Prof. Mahmut Kuş (PhD) from the Institute of Energy Technologies, GTU, and his doctoral student Esma Yenel (PhD) have taken their place among the finalists from Turkey, with the project titled "A Novel Concept for New Generation Solar Energy Highly Efficient Perovskite Solar Cells Based on Natural Mesoporous Materials", which is Esma Yenel's doctoral dissertation at the same time. The project will be introduced to the national and international investors in the event that will be held on 11 December 2018 at Zorlu Performing Arts Center, and the startups that will be competing at the Global Summit that will be held in March in Paris will be determined.

As GTU Family, we congratulate our faculty member Prof. Kuş and his doctoral student Ms. Yenel, and wish them continued success.
