GTU Teams Compete at TEKNOFEST with the Vehicles They Design

GTU students who participated in TÜBİTAK's UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) Competition for 2018, organized under TEKNOFEST ISTANBUL Aerospace and Technology Festival, successfully represented GTU at the event. The Merkut, GTU Rocket, FiloTurk, Tuygun, Kelebek, Gitech and Gölge Teams consisting of GTU students competed in various categories including rocket design, model satellite design and UAV design. All teams were awarded with a thank-you plaque for the vehicles they designed and the contribution they have made to the development of the country's technology. In addition, one of the GTU teams became the first team that could complete a mission within a UAV competition with a delta wing plane.
