TÜBİTAK supports GTU Academics

Project proposals prepared by GTU academics and submitted to TÜBİTAK's Research Funding Program Directorate (ARDEB) under 1001-Scientific and Technological Research Projects Funding Program and 3501-Career Development Program gain right to receive funding

GTU academics have responded to and submitted their applications by proposing projects for the call for made by TÜBİTAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) to support scientific and technological research projects and PhD-holding scholars in the prime of their careers. As a result of the reviews and evaluations made, GTU academics' projects have gained the right to receive funds. GTU academics and their projects that have been entitled to receive funds under 1001- Scientific and Technological Research Projects Funding Program are as follows:

- "Synthesis of Novel Imidazolidinedione Derivatives and Platinum Complexes and the Investigation of Their Anti-Tumor Effects on Human Cancer Cells" by Prof. Vefa Ahsen (PhD), Faculty Member, Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science

"Determination of Microplastic Levels in Different Micro-Environments in Kocaeli and Isparta and the Correlation of Microplastics with Different Pollutant Groups" by Assoc. Prof. Banu Çetin (PhD), Faculty Member, Department of Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Engineering
