GTU and Sabancı University sign collaboration protocol on Experimental Animals Research

GTU continues to use its academic capabilities and laboratory facilities in various projects involving different institutions and organizations. Within this scope, a new protocol has recently been signed between GTU and Sabancı University (SU). The protocol signing ceremony took place at GTU's Senate Meeting Room, and the Experimental Animals Research Collaboration Protocol was signed between GTU and SU Nanotechnology Research and Application Center (SUNUM) by GTU Rector Prof. M. Hasan Aslan (PhD) on behalf of GTU and by SU Nanotechnology Research and Application Center Director Prof. Fazilet Vardar (PhD) on behalf of SU. With the protocol, SUNUM researchers will be using the equipment and facilities of GTU-MAR (Central Research Laboratory) and conducting their research in the field of life sciences and health. In this regard, production, supply and care of laboratory mice to be used in experimental animals research will be carried out, analyses involving the composition and measurement of xenograph tissues will be conducted, and personnel to work within GTU-MAR will be employed.
