GTU Entrepreneurship Summit aspires to inspire future entrepreneurs

The 4th GTU Entrepreneurship Summit, which is organized by GTU to create awareness for entrepreneurship in every segment of the society and to improve the young entrepreneurship potential of Turkey in terms of quality and quantity, took place at the The Green Park Pendik Hotel & Convention Center on 9th and 10th May, 2018. The opening ceremony of the summit was attended by Fikri Işık, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey; Hüseyin Aksoy, Kocaeli Governor; Adnan Köşker, Mayor of Gebze; Şükrü Karabacak; Mayor of Darıca; Prof. Muhammed Hasan Aslan, PhD, Acting Rector of GTU; Ayhan Zeytinoğlu;  Chairman of the Board of Directors, Kocaeli Chamber of Industry; Nail Çiler, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Gebze Chamber of Commerce; directors of organized industrial zones; industrialists; academics; and students. The motto of this year's summit was "Manage Digital Transformation, Build The Future!", and the new era that Industry 4.0 will start and the opportunities it provides, the great change that will come along with the Digital Transformation and its impact on the entrepreneurship ecosystem were evaluated in light of the experiences and entrepreneurship stories of the leading actors in their fields.
