GTU signs protocol for "Center of Excellence for Advanced Engineering"

The signing ceremony for Center of Excellence for Applied Advanced Engineering under Guided Project Financial Assistance, carried out jointly by Gebze Technical University (GTU), MARKA (East Marmara Development Agency), Kocaeli University, and İMES Organized Industrial Zone (Application Holder), recently took place.

Kocaeli Governor Hüseyin Aksoy, GTU Acting Rector Prof. Muhammed Hasan Aslan (PhD), MARKA Secretary General Mustafa Çöpoğlu, Kocaeli University Secretary General Fatih Akbulut, and İMES Organized Industrial Zone President İrfan Küçükay were present at the signing ceremony, which took place in the meeting room of the office of the governor. The project aims to help produce the qualified labor Turkey's industry needs, contribute to the trainings that will increase the employment opportunities in the country, and contribute to the enhancement of innovative product development capacity of companies. In the ceremony, MARKA Secretary General Mustafa Çöpoğlu, İMES Organized Industrial Zone President İrfan Küçükay, GTU Acting Rector Prof. Muhammed Hasan Aslan (PhD), and Kocaeli University Secretary General Fatih Akbulut delivered their speeches. Following them, Kocaeli Governor Hüseyin Aksoy delivered his speech and gave his warm wishes for the signing of the protocol. At the end of the ceremony, the protocol was signed by all stakeholders.
