Faculty of Architecture remembers Sinan the Architect

On the 430th anniversary of his death, Sinan the Architect, the great Ottoman architect and urban designer, will be commemorated with several events to be held at the Faculty of Architecture, GTU. 

Sinan the Architect, who is known to have died on April 9, 1588, is remembered every year within the scope of the "Architect's Day" celebrated on a national level in memory of him. In this regard, starting from April 9, there will be a series of events that will last for five weeks at GTU. The events include an exhibition that consists of GTU Architecture Department's students' works from the studio and several courses in the 2017-2018 Academic Year Fall Semester. The exhibition can be visited till May 10, 2018 at the Orange Hall, Block N, Faculty of Architecture.
