Best Microprocessor Projects Awarded

The students that won the first three places in the design contest held under the CSE 334 Microprocessors course at GTU were awarded.

A design contest was recently organized within the scope of CSE 334 Microprocessors course offered during 2016-2017 Spring Semester at the Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering at GTU. As part of the contest, which counts as the students’ final projects at the same time, the students prepared projects they chose themselves using a HCS12 processor. As a result of the competition, Furkan Erdöl, GTU Computer Engineering student, won the first place with his project “Pong Game”; Ömer Faruk Yücetürk, another GTU Computer Engineering student, won the second place with his project “Morse Encoder/Decoder”; and Muhammet Tayyip Çankaya, again a GTU Computer Engineering student, won the third place with his project “Color Sorter”. The three students received their awards from the course and research assistant Mahmud Rasih Çelenlioğlu last week.
