Internship Opportunity in Europe for GTU Students

The accreditation application made by Erasmus+ Mobility Consortium, established under the coordinatorship of GTU for student internship and staff teaching mobility that will be carried out under European Commission’s Erasmus+ Programme offered by the Center for European Union Education and Youth Programmes (National Agency) serving under the Republic of Turkey, Ministry for EU Affairs, has been accepted.

The consortium, with university-industry collaboration, will enable students to serve their internships in Europe and gain work experience during their university education, also creating an opportunity for them to catch job opportunities in Europe after graduation. Thanks to the consortium coordinated by GTU, the students of Boğaziçi University and Sabancı University will also be able to serve their internships abroad for period of 2 to 12 months under Erasmus+ programme. The application announcement will be made in the forthcoming weeks on GTU’s website. Similar to the Erasmus+ internship program already conducted by GTU, now students will be sent abroad under the roof of the consortium. Besides GTU, Boğaziçi University, Sabancı University, Şişecam, Gebze Organized Industrial Zone (GOSB), Kocaeli Chamber of Industry, Plast-Fed, and Phitech are also included within the consortium’s organizational structure.
